Pierre J. LaVerghetta, 88, of Exton, passed away on June 30, 2015.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Maria and Cesare LaVerghetta. Pierre served honorably in the US Navy & worked as an engineer.
Beloved husband of Barbara LaVerghetta (nee Dolan); loving father of Anne Brody (Jordan) of Philadelphia; and dear brother of Esther Grassi of Wildwood, NJ.
Pierre loved to spend time with his family, was proud of his Italian heritage, a jazz aficionado & an avid tennis player.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Service on Monday, July 6, 2015, 11:00am at the West Laurel Hill Chapel, 215 Belmont Ave, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Musicopia, 543 Woodland Ln., Wayne, PA 19087.
