Priscilla Rogers

Priscilla Emmons Rogers “Ponny”,  age 69, of Parkesburg, PA , passed away on August 9, 2019 at the Brandywine Hospital, Coatesville, PA,  after a long sickness.

She was born in Baltimore, MD to the late Kintzing Blyth Emmons and Priscilla Comfort  Emmons. Her older brother, John F. Emmons of Atlanta, GA, survives her.

Growing up in the Philadelphia, PA area, Priscilla graduated from George School in Newtown, PA

And Connecticut College (formerly Connecticut College for Women), New London, CT.

She spent most of her working career with Main Line Federal Savings Bank (formerly Maine Line Savings and Loan Bank) in Ardmore, PA.   It was during her years in banking that she met her future husband, the late John F. Rogers.  They were married 33 years.

Priscilla had a strong Catholic faith and enjoyed entertaining family and friends.  She was also an enthusiastic traveler,  an avid cross-stitcher and a member of the Coatesville Moose Lodge.

A memorial graveside service is being planned for Wednesday September 18, 2019 11:00 AM, at Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.
