R. Grasso

R. Joseph "POP" Grasso, age 87, formerly of Broomall, PA, passed away on February 7, 2017. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Rosario and Concetta Grasso (nee Grasso).
Joseph served in the United States Army attaining the rank of Corporal. He was employed as a Service Representative for Canteen, a vending company. He loved baking, carving birds, fishing, spending time at his summer trailer in Ocean View Campground but mostly he loved spending time with his family.
Joseph was the beloved husband of the late Elaine E. Grasso (nee DeLuca). He is survived by his loving children Denise (Bob) Basquill, Dawn (Sergio) Stalletti and Joseph (Jamie) Grasso, his grandchildren Robert (Megan), Brittany (Pat), Vincent (Mariah), Nicholas, Gianna, Natalia, Deanna and his great-grandchildren Emma, Graham and Spencer. Brother of Fred, Sam and the late Frank Grasso.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Monday, February 13, 2017 9:00-10:30 AM The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA (610) 353-6300 and to his Funeral Mass 11:00 AM St. Anastasia Church, 3301 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery.
