Rachel Capuzzi

Rachel Mary Capuzzi (nee Benedetti), age 88, of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on March 20, 2014. Born in South Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the John and Gilda Benedetti (nee Marchesani). She was a graduate of South Philadelphia Girls High School and Penn State University. She was the owner of Poly Phase Instrument Company, an electronic manufacturing company located in Fort Washington, PA, from 1949 until her retirement in 1985.



She is survived by her children Robert (Mary Lou) Capuzzi and Cecilia (Jim) Capuzzi-Simon, her siblings Helen Frain and Vincent Benedetti, 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Edmund C. Capuzzi, her son Edmund Capuzzi, and her brother Philip Benedetti.
