Rafael Petrosian

Rafael (Rafo) Petrosian, age 66, of West Chester, PA, passed away unexpectedly on December 29, 2020.

He was born in Yerevan, Armenia on March 11, 1954.  He grew up with a passion for art and music. He met his wife Sara in 1972. They immediately had a special connection that blossomed and have been married for the past 43 years.

They immigrated in 1979 with several close family members. He was a successful restauranteur and continued to create art and play music. Rafael was a devoted husband, father to Tico and Annie and Papike to his two grandson’s Jacob and Armen.

In recent years he has focused on his passions. Collecting, restoring and selling antiques and music instruments. He often took walks in the park with his wife. He took great pride in his house and making it an amazing home for his family. His presence is everywhere from his beautiful artworks to the meticulous landscaping. We will always remember his warm smile, his calm demeanor and never ending love for his family. Astvatz Hokin Loosavori Rafo Jan.

He is survived by his beloved wife Satenik (nee Ishkhanian) Petrosian; loving children Annie Lewis (Gary) and Tico Petrosian (Jodi); caring grandchildren Jacob and Armen Petrosian; and dear brother Artashes Petrosian. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews Meri, Arthur, Lilit, and Vahe.

Relatives and friends are invited to Rafael’s Visitation on Monday, January 4, 2020 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at St. Sahag and Mesrob Church, 630 Clothier Rd, Wynnewood, PA 19096, followed by his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
