Ralph E. Neild, age 73, of Newtown Square, PA, passed away on May 8, 2014. Born in Hartford, CT, he was the son of the late Edward and Ruth Neild (nee Boyle). Ralph received his Associates Degree from the University of Hartford. He served in the U.S. Navy Submarine Service from 1959-1962.
Ralph was employed as a Service Manager for Perkin Elmer Corporation in Newtown Square, PA from 1965-1997. He enjoyed playing golf.
Ralph was predeceased by his wife, Joan Tanner Neild (nee Reiter), his son Jeffrey Neild and his sister Diane Parlow. He is survived by his children Cynthia L. (R. Cyrus) Moreland and Brian E. (Teri) Neild, his grandchildren Ryan, Sean and Annabella, his stepsons Stephen, Dane and Ken Tanner, 9 step-grandchildren and 5 step-great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Monday, May 19, 2014 11:00 AM-12 Noon at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA (610) 353-6300 and to his Funeral Service at 12 Noon. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue, 60 Vera Cruz Road, Reinholds, PA 17569 would be appreciated.
