Ralph Salamone, Sr.

Beloved father, son, and husband, Ralph J. Salamone Sr. , 59, of Broomall, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, after a courageous battle with brain cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, in 1962, he was the son of Ralph Salamone and the late Sarah (Née Carini) Salamone. He grew up in Broomall and graduated from Marple Newtown High School in 1980. In 1984, Ralph met the love of his life, Ellen. They spent many happy years together, creating a loving family, and taking it one day at a time.

A dependable and hard worker, Ralph was employed as an Information Technology Analyst at Ntirety. As a top performer, he received multiple awards for his commitment and dedication to his field. There wasn’t a problem he couldn’t solve! In the summer, he looked forward to relaxing on the beach in Wildwood, NJ and Bethany Beach, DE. He also took pleasure in traveling to various destinations with his family. Ralph enjoyed spending his time making homemade wine with his brother and family, and drinking it by the outdoor fireplace. He had many passions in life. Ralph was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan, enjoyed great food, good laughs, and making lifelong memories.

Ralph was the beloved husband of Ellen (nee Bramley) Salamone of 35 years. He was the loving father of Ralph Salamone, Jr. (Elizabeth) and Robert Salamone; the brother of Jeffrey Salamone, Paul Salamone (Lisa) and Thomas Salamone; the son in law of Albert Bramley and Barbara Bramley; the brother in law of Nadine Scali (Victor); and the uncle of Mark Salamone, Ryan Salamone, Kaitlyn Scali, and Tori Scali.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Tuesday evening, September 7, 2021, 7:00 – 9:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, 610-353-6300, and on Wednesday morning, 8:30 – 9:30 AM, followed by his Funeral Mass at St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Broomall, PA 19008. Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
