Raul M. Fuentes

Raul M. Fuentes, 94, passed away surrounded by his loving family, May 29, 2024. Beloved son of the late Rafael and Regla (nee Sanchez) Fuentes.

Raul is survived by his dear sons, Henry Fuentes and Raul Fuentes (Maria); Granddaughter, Kathryn Rose. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Rosa (nee Arizmendi) Fuentes; siblings, Rafael, Yolanda, and Carlos.

Raul will be remembered as a loving and caring father who was always there for his family. He adored his wife, Rosa, of 63 years before her passing last December.

Raul was born and raised in Cuba where he found his passion for great music especially at the live Cuban festivals where he enjoyed dancing and spending time with his wife, family, and friends. While in Cuba, he had a flourishing career as a pharmacist before coming to America at 33 years old in 1962.

Relatives and friends are invited to Raul’s viewing Friday, June 7 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Bernadette of Lourdes Church, 1035 Turner Ave, Drexel Hill, PA followed by his funeral mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 Sproul Road, Springfield, PA.
