Raymond H. Teetsel

Raymond H. Teetsel, age 88, passed away July 28, 2023.  Beloved son of the late Paul and Alice (nee Protin) Teetsel.

Raymond was predeseased by his loving wife of 60 years, Carolyn A. (nee Fischer) Teetsel.  Raymond is survived by his children, Bill (Sophie) Teetsel, Lee (Terri) Teetsel, and Linda Murphy; grandchildren, Alissa, Laura, Christine, and Brandon (Tracy); great-grandchildren Daniel, Averie, and Brandon. He is also survived by his sister Alice Harris.  Raymond was predeceased by his siblings, Walter Teetsel, Jean O’Donnell and Carol Teetsel.

Raymond served honorably in The United States Marine Corp during the Korean War. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge 711.

Raymond was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, especially the Phillies and Eagles. He played semi-pro football as well.  Raymond had many pastimes, including, spending time in LBI, boating, fishing, and crabbing. Raymond was also an avid dog owner.  Raymond’s favorite thing in life was spending time with his family, especially his great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Wednesday, August 2^nd from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM followed by his funeral service 10:30 AM at The Knoetgan - Donohue Funeral Home, 746 Kedron Avenue, Morton, PA.  Interment private.
