Raymond J. Wilson of West Chester, 92, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 8, 2017.
He was the beloved husband of the late Virginia L. (nee Lockbaum) Wilson and the late Louella E. (nee Dawson) Wilson. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Henry L. Wilson and Bertha G. (nee Bender) Wilson. He was a graduate of Upper Darby High School, worked in Publishing until realizing his dream of an Entrepreneurial Career.
Mr. Wilson was a member of the West Chester United Methodist Church and Charlestown United Methodist Church. He was a member of the golf club at Hershey's Mill and wrote articles for the Bulletin Newspaper. He was an avid traveler. The Ranch at Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Cruises and Hawaii, being some of his favorites. His spirit lives on in his surviving children, Martin J. (Deborah), Henry E. (Maureen), Gordon A., Regina M. Recchi, Brian R. (Cameron), Lawrence E. (Maura), Timothy A., James J. and the late Rita M. Wilson. Mr. Wilson is also survived by 12 grand and 2 great-grandchildren.
