Richard Harrell

May 31, 1949 — January 7, 2018

Richard "Dick" Harrell, age 68, of Prospect Park, PA, formerly of Upper Darby and Philadelphia, PA, passed away on January 7, 2018. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late James O. and Agnes Bridget Harrell (nee McDaid).



Dick was a graduate of Lower Merion High School. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War era. He was employed as a truck driver for Origlio Beverage for 33 years and also employed at Pilot Air Freight handling building maintenance and painting for 18 years. Dick was an amateur landscaper, an avid history buff and loved watching the History Channel. He enjoyed researching all topics of interest on the internet.



He is survived by his beloved wife, Sara M. "Sally" Harrell (nee Kennedy), his loving sons Richard "Ritchie" (Daria) Harrell and Vincent Harrell, his siblings Ellen Phillips (the late Richard), Dan (Regina) Harrell, Thomas Harrell, Agnes Harrell and James (Monica) Harrell, his grandog "Willow" and his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Frank Harrell (Delores).



Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Friday, January 12, 2018 4:00-8:00 PM The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby, PA (610) 449-0300 and to his Funeral Mass Saturday, January 13, 2018 11:00 AM St. Laurence Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA. Interment will be private.
