Richard V. Holmes, Sr., Age 89, of Media, PA, passed on December 25, 2018.
Beloved husband of the late Anne "Nancy" Holmes (nee Desmond); loving father of Kathleen Hannum (the late Gary), Jane Hollingsworth (Bradford), Marion Nestor (Joseph), Richard V. Holmes, Jr. (Kelly Hutchinson), and Anne Holmes (Michael Pfeiffer.)
Cherished grandfather of Lindsay, Bradford, Colleen, Jack, Dylan, Kevin, Brooke, and Caroline; great-grandfather of Harper; brother of Robert Holmes (Norita).
Richard served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was a graduate of Villanova University and received his Law Degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
Richard was employed as a General Counsel Attorney for Smith Kline Pharmaceutical Company.
