Richard Rumer

Richard Raymond Rumer, age 71 of Berwyn, PA, passed away on September 23, 2018.

Richard was the son of the late Charles Herbert and Regina (nee Lynch) Rumer.

He was a graduate of Villanova University and worked for Temple University and Spectacor.

Richard's business philosophy was such that he believed that every job was important

from the janitor to the CEO

-

all contributed to the well-being of the company.

Richard was a great father, a man of deep faith / coach / mentor, with a wonderful sense of humor who loved life.



Richard loved the beach, especially Longport and Avalon, NJ.

He was an avid golfer at Waynesborough Country Club and enjoyed watching all Philadelphia sports.



Richard was the beloved husband of Deborah L. Rumer (nee Lilly); the loving father of Stephanie Kirsch (Mason) and Christopher Rumer (Cheldin); the devoted grandfather of Zach and Abigail Kirsch and Sydney and Chase Rumer; the dear brother of Charles "Skip" Rumer; brother-in-law of Jim Lilly (Marcy) and Winnie Taylor (Jim).

Also survived by niece Alex Lilly, and nephews Robert and Mark Sprenkle.



Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation, Saturday, October 6, 2018 10

11 AM at St. Norbert Church, 50 Leopard Road, Paoli, PA

Interment private.
