Rita DiFrancesco

Rita M. (nee Landolfi), age 88, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on February 29, 2020.  Born in Philadelphia, PA., she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Margaret Landolfi (nee Cariola).

Rita was a 1949 graduate of Overbrook High School in Philadelphia.  She volunteered at the Overbrook School for the Blind.  She also managed Joseph A. DiFrancesco, Jr. Paving Company.

Rita is survived by her beloved husband of 68 years, Joseph A. DiFrancesco, Jr., her her loving children Geralyn Meehan (Joseph), Margie DiFrancesco, Joseph A. DiFrancesco, III (Deborah) and the late Monica Strohl (Donald).   Also survived by her 7 grandchildren Gwen O'Neill (Chris), Joseph Meehan (Colleen), Anthony Meehan (Shannon), Marissa Danese (Matt), Stephanie Siegman (Brian), Joseph DiFrancesco, IV, and Daniel DiFrancesco, and her 15 great-grandchildren Brian, Mackenzie, Ava, Alyssa, Angelo, Grace, Arianna, Emily, Raegan, Emma, Eva, Donnie, Tommy, Clarice and Monica.  Sister of the late Theresa Lorefice (Dominic), Josephine Foga (Thomas), and Ralph Landolfi (Barbara).

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Saturday, March 7, 2020 9:30-11:00 AM at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 3500 School Lane, Drexel Hill, PA and to her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.  Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
