Rita F. Kelly, of Broomall, PA, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2016.
She was born on July 29, 1929 in Philadelphia to Alice and Francis Morrow.
Rita married Joseph C. Kelly on April 19, 1952 and they were happily married for 50 years before his death in 2002. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Alice.
Mrs. Kelly was a 1947 graduate of West Catholic High School for Girls. She worked for a number of years for the John B. Kelly family.
Rita leaves behind many people who loved her greatly including her cousins, Carole Olsen, Catherine Barbieri, Victor DiFelice, David DiFelice and Janet Boylan, her dear friend Carmella Mullen, and many other family members, neighbors and friends. Rita had amazing inner strength. She was a favorite guest at many weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and other celebrations and will be truly missed.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held on April 15, 2016 at St. Pius X Church in Broomall, PA at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
