Rita M. Murphy, age 91, of Plush Mills, formerly of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on September 8, 2016. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the beloved daughter of the late Edward and Marie Murphy (nee Gallagher). Rita was a graduate of John W. Hallahan High School. She was employed for General Electric in the Accounting/Payroll Department.
Rita was the loving sister of Marie McGee, Betty Donaher (Tom) and the late Margaret Mellet (the late Frank). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Saturday, September 17, 2016 9:30-10:20 AM and to her Funeral Mass 10:30 AM St. Bernadette Church, 1035 Turner Avenue, Drexel Hill, PA. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
