Rita Zarabba

Rita M. Zarabba (nee Celenza), age 75, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away February 21, 2020, peacefully surrounded by her three children, as she took her last breath.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Dominick and Anna Celenza.  Rita worked in the insurance industry as an Administrative Assistant for the Richardson Agency located in Broomall, PA.

Rita was the loving mother of Maryanna Scarpato (Joe), Joseph Zarabba (Jaci) and  Melissa Matthy (Andy), the cherished grandmother of Nicholas, Carsen, Tanner, Myles, Maddox, and Audrey.  She is predeceased by her siblings, Carmen Celenza, Vincent Celenza and Anthony Celenza.  Rita is also predeceased by her loving companion, Paul “Rick” Rickabaugh.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing, Wednesday Evening, February 26, 2020, 6:00 – 8:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA  19073, 610-353-6300, and on Thursday 9:30 – 10:30 AM at St. Bernadette Parish Church, 1035 Turner Avenue, Drexel Hill, PA  19026, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM.  Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
