Robert Casey, Sr.

Robert J. Casey, Sr. age 94, of Newtown Square, PA, passed away on October 11, 2017.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the dear son of the late John F. and Mary (nee Cleary) Casey.
After graduating from Villanova University as part of the Navy V-12 program, Robert served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy during WW II, then went on to work as a licensed professional Mechanical Engineer for the U.S. Navy. He received his Master's Degree at the University of Pennsylvania. He continued his career as a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Villanova University following his retirement from the US Navy.
Robert was the beloved husband of the late Rosemary deLourdes (nee McHenry) Casey. He was the loving father of Rosemary Casey Peterson, M.D., (Donald P., M.D.), Robert J. Casey, Jr., Esq. (Ann Delaney), and Mary Beth C. Humbert, Ed.D., (Robert J.). He was the proud grandfather of seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Robert was predeceased by his brother John E. Casey and his grandchild, Donald Peterson.
