Robert Ellis

Robert Ellis, age 93, of Freedom Village Brandywine, passed away on May 13, 2021.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Moyer Ellis, daughter, Pamela Ellis Gustafson, son, Stephen Moore Ellis, two grandchildren, and five nieces and nephews.

Robert graduated from Lehigh University 1952. He served honorably in the US Army from 1946 -1947 and 1952-1953. He had a career with Penn Mutual Life lnsurance Company and retired in 1983 as Vice President of Data Processing and Administrative Services. Robert was a passionate Democrat and an avid follower of politics. He was a voracious reader. Robert enjoyed playing bocce ball, poker, and strived to be the best putter on the greens.

Relatives and friends are invited to his service at Washington Memorial Chapel, Route 23 at Valley Forge National Historical Park, Valley Forge, PA. Visitation 1:00-1:45 PM Wednesday, May 19, 2021 followed by a Funeral Mass at 2:00 PM. Interment Washington Memorial Chapel Cemetery.
