Robert Samuel Gaunt

Robert Samuel Gaunt of West Chester, PA, 74, died peacefully at home on May 6, 2022.

Born in Newark, NJ, he was the son of Robert C. Gaunt and Mary Deduck.

He attended Rahway High School in NJ, graduated from Alma White College in Zarapath, NJ and held a marketing degree from USF. Before moving to PA, he lived in NJ, NY and Minnesota.

Employed in the food industry for most of his career, he was a National and Regional Sales Manager for Carnation, HJ. Heinz, StarKist Seafood and 9-Lives Divisions, and Chicken of the Sea.

Bob was an avid tennis player, winning many trophies for his excellence on the Court. He also enjoyed biking, fishing, and had a great interest in the music of the 60’s and vintage automobiles. He was President of the West Chester East Ice Hockey Club, was very involved in the program, and loved watching his sons play.

Bob is survived by his wife, Gail (McNamara) and son, Robert J. Gaunt.  He was predeceased by his son, Jeffrey Scott Gaunt.

Services and interment will be private.
