Robert H. "Bob" Gould

Robert H. “Bob” Gould, 81, of Malvern, PA passed away on March 17, 2023. He was the son of the late Harry & Louise (née Smith) Gould. Bob was also predeceased by his sister, Patricia Vietze & his brother, Harry Gould.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife Susan M. (née Sullivan) Gould, his loving children, Christopher Gould (Allison), Erin Shea (Dennis), Sarah Mears (Brian), his wonderful grandchildren, Dennis, Patrick, Brady, Eliza, Owen, Matthew, Turner & Riley. He is also survived by his brother, David Gould (Mary), his sister, Susan Parker (Don) and his brother-in-law, Mark Peterson.

Bob was born on Halloween and grew up in Acton, Massachusetts. He attended Tufts University where he studied Electrical Engineering, and he received his Masters in Business from Northeastern University.

Bob met the love of his life, Susan, in 1964 and was married for almost 60 years. They built a wonderful life over the course of their marriage, cherishing their time together.

If you knew Bob, you will remember his wonderful sense of humor. His favorite thing was to make others happy and to give someone a laugh. He always put others before himself and was ready to share a smile and a kind word. He was a true gentleman that cherished life, was grateful for all he had, and looked for the positive in every situation.

Bob enjoyed playing golf. You could find him perfecting his swing on the courses of Radley Run or Hershey’s Mill. He also enjoyed exercising and walking. He was a Philadelphia Sports Fan and also loved history and astronomy. The time he spent with his family was most important to him. He was very proud of his children and absolutely adored his grandchildren. His wife Susan was the absolute apple of his eye whom he adored. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family and friends are invited on to this visitation on Thursday April 13th from 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM at SS Simon & Jude Catholic Church, 8 Cavanaugh Ct., West Chester, PA 19382, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:30AM. Private Interment.
