Born in Pittsburgh, PA, he spent the majority of his life in the Greater Philadelphia area as a businessman and father.
Robert was a graduate of Blair Academy in Blairstown, NJ and Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA.
He is survived by his daughter Tara Lynn Boland, sons Mark Scott Griffiths and Robert David Griffiths, Jr. as well as his 4 grandsons and 3 granddaughters. Services and Interment are private.
