Robert Gerald Hampton, 86, of West Brandywine, PA, passed away on February 7, 2018.
Born in Chester, PA in 1931, he was the son of the late Gerald E. and Helen V. (nee Hoynes) Hampton.
He was the owner of Jerry Hampton Furniture from 1951 to 2007.
Robert was the beloved husband of 66 years of the late Florence M. (nee Sullivan) Hampton; loving father of Patricia H. Morgan, Sharon A. Zinna, Judy A. Hampton, and Cindy A. Montague; adoring grandfather to four grandchildren and dear great-grandfather to six great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made be made in Robert's memory to the Fisher Center for Alzheimer's Research Foundation, 110 East 42nd Street, 16th Floor, New York, NY 10017.
