Robert Hoffman

Robert W. Hoffman, age 89, of Drexel Hill, PA, passed away on March 20, 2014. Born in Shamokin, PA, he was the son of the late Frank and Lydia Catherine Hoffman (nee Nye).
Robert served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was employed as a Machinist at Westinghouse. He retired in 1986.
He is survived by his children Barbara Shelvis (Tony), Patricia O'Donnell (William) and Robert V. Hoffman (Deborah). He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Sophie Hoffman (nee Ianni), his sister Jacqueline Caltigerone and his brother Frank Hoffman.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Friday, March 28, 2014 7:00-9:00 PM and Saturday, March 29, 2014 8:30-9:30 AM The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby (610) 449-0300 and to his Funeral Mass 10:00 AM St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 3500 School Lane, Drexel Hill, PA. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
