Robert Leyshion

Robert Leyshion, age 94, of Havertown, PA, sadly passed away on November 6, 2024, surrounded by his family.

Born in Pittston, PA, he was the son of the late Thomas and Ida (née Hoffner) Leyshion.

A proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Robert served his country honorably during the Korean War. He exemplified the virtues of courage and commitment. His years of service instilled in him a strong sense of duty that carried into all aspects of his life.

Robert was employed as a Supervisor with the US Postal Service. He was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church in Havertown. He was a member of the American Legion, a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association as well as a member of the Delaware County Field and Stream Association.

Robert was the beloved husband of the late Joann L. (née Mowery) Leyshion; the loving father of Tonya Leyshion (Drew Morris), James Leyshion, and Sheryle Reynolds (David Grieco); and the proud grandfather of granddaughter, Erin Northrup (Ryan). 

Services and interment will be held privately.
