Robert W. "Reds" McKenna, age 84, passed away with his family at his bedside, on April 2, 2015 of Drexel Hill, PA. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Robert E. and Elizabeth McKenna (nee Gamble). He was a 1948 graduate of West Catholic Boys High School in Philadelphia. He served four years in the United States Navy during the Korean War and was employed as a refinery worker at Arco Refinery for 35 years.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years Helen Ann (nee Copley) and his loving children Mary Lou (Edward) Lawless, Robert E. (Caroline), Michael B., Susanne (Thomas) Maccarone, and Patrick F. (Sharon) McKenna. He was the proud grandfather of 10 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Rosemarie Bauer (the late John) and Rita (Joseph) Brennan.
