Robert S. Mikalonis

Robert S. Mikalonis, age 88, of Media, PA , formerly of Wilkes Barre, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on December 16, 2023. Beloved son of the late John F. and Helen (nee Yakubaskas) Mikalonis.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Pauline (nee Skolnick) Mikalonis; Children, Diane Martyn (Andrew), Carol Eldridge (Edward), and David Mikalonis (Susan); Brothers, John (Mik) Mikalonis (Donna) and Gerald Mikalonis (Karen); Grandchildren Jennifer Green (Daniel), John Martyn (Niki), Kevin Martyn (Margaret), Britney Knighton (Brad), Rebecca Clayton (Jeff), Phoebe Mikalonis (Carson Brown), and Gabrielle Segal (Jake); Great-Grandchildren, Victoria, Molly, Benjamin, Robert, Jackson, Gabriel, Olivia, Owen, Brooks, Luke, and Nora. Robert was predeceased by his dear sister-in-law Donna Mikalonis and beloved great-granddaughter Olivia Knighton.

Bob served 4 years in the US Air Force, 3 years in the Pennsylvania Air National Guard, followed by 35 years working for Boeing, Inc. until his retirement in 1997.

Bob’s passion was to take care of Pauline and spend time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren whom he greatly adored.

Relatives and friends are invited to Bob’s viewing Thursday, December 21 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Nativity BVM Catholic Church, 30 East Franklin Street, Media, PA, followed by his funeral mass at 11:00 AM.  Interment private.
