Robert "Bob" F. Nelson, age 67, of Chester Springs, passed away on February 25, 2015.
Born in Philadelphia in 1947, he was the beloved son of the late Althea (nee Dymond) and William Ross Nelson.
Bob was a graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School and he attended Cornell University. He worked as a professional land surveyor and was interested in restoring antique clocks. Bob and his wife, Liz, grew Christmas trees on their farm in Chester Springs, PA. He was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons.
Bob was the beloved husband of Naomi "Liz" Nelson (nee Baughman), with whom he shared 44 years of marriage; loving father to Sandra Bowman (and her partner, Tracy), Rob Nelson (JoAnn), Chelle Nelson, and the late Curt Stoudt; loving grandfather of Jason, Andrew, Zane, Otto, and Elizabeth; and dear brother of Bill Nelson and Jack Nelson.
Services and interment are private.
