Robert Paxson

Robert C. Paxson, age 64, of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on November 11, 2014. Born in Darby, PA, he was the son of the late Norman and Eileen Paxson (nee Muschamp). He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Philadelphia Textiles & Science in Philadelphia, PA. He was employed as a letter carrier with the United States Postal Service in the Havertown Office for 30 years. He had been on sick leave since October 2013.



Robert is survived by his wife Cathleen R. Paxson (nee Rowlett), his children Bethany (Ryan) McVeigh, Joelle Paxson, Jonathan Paxson and Jared Paxson, his grandson Dylan Paxson, his brother George Paxson, his nieces Alicia and Kimberly Paxson, and numerous friends and fellow Postal employees.



Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Wednesday, November 19, 2014 9:30-10:20 AM St. Laurence Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA and to his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment private.



In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to Upper Darby Arts and Education Foundation, Summer Stage Fund, 601 N. Lansdowne Avenue, Drexel Hill, PA 19026 would be appreciated.
