Robert T. Stratton

Robert T. Stratton, age 61, of Media, PA passed away May 2, 2023.  Born in Darby, PA to the late Joseph and Mary (nee. Duffy) Stratton.

Loving father of Robert T. Stratton Jr (Amy) and grandfather of Charlotte Stratton.  Beloved brother to Joseph Stratton (Marianne), Mary D’ Agostino (David), Joanne Morie (Robert), and John Stratton. Cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews. 

Bob was a graduate of Lansdowne Aldan High School and a proud employee of IBM for over 25 years.  Bob had many passions: he loved fishing, ice hockey, especially rooting for the Flyers, reading about history, and most of all his family.  He was known for his kindness and generosity and always had a funny story to tell.  He loved to spend time down the shore throughout his life, especially at Ocean Gate, Sea Isle, and Wildwood. He cherished trips with his son to the Grand Canyon and fishing in Canada and the time he spent with his granddaughter. Bob could often be found swimming and socializing at the YMCA or walking along the Darby Creek Trail.  He will be forever missed by his adoring family.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 W. Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA. Funeral Mass 10:30 AM Wednesday, May 10^th at Nativity BVM Church, 30 E Franklin St, Media, PA followed by Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, 626 Baily Rd, Yeadon, PA.
