Robert J. "Bob" Wallace, 76, of West Chester, PA passed away on October 16, 2017.
Born in 1941, he was the son of the late Robert A. and Elizabeth (Seville) Wallace.
He was a 1959 graduate of Monsignor Bonner High school. Robert served honorably as a Sergeant in the First Air Cavalry in the US Army. He worked as a Real Estate Developer and Builder for Baxter Properties. Bob enjoyed snowmobiling, the outdoors and was very much a "do-it-yourself" guy who could fix anything and everything.
He was the beloved husband of the late Janet M. (Brennan) Wallace; loving father of Susan J. Wallace of West Chester, PA and Kristen Dessender (David) of Malvern, PA; loving grandfather of Kayley and Dean Dessender; dear brother of Barbara Baxter, Lois O'Hara and Connie Laughner; and beloved friend to Wendy, Michael, Alysa and Jenna Frost. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Kelly, his nieces, nephews, in-laws and his extended family from Crescent Lake in the Poconos.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing 6:00-8:00 PM Friday, October 20, 2017 and 8:30-9:45 AM Saturday at The Donohue Funeral Home, 1627 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA 19382, 610-431-9000, followed by his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM at SS Peter & Paul, 1325 Boot Road, West Chester, PA 19380. Interment will be at SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
