Robert John Whalen, Jr.

Robert John “Bob” Whalen, Jr. age 65, of Upper Darby, PA, passed away on July 14, 2022. He was the son of Lynn Whalen (nee Winscom) and the late Robert J. Whalen, Sr.   Brother of Richard, Sandra LaLiberte (Mark), the late Linda Ann and the late Peggy. Uncle to Ken, Dylan, Alexis and Alana. He will be missed by Barbara O’Malley, his loving companion of 22 years.

A graduate of Upper Darby High School, Bob loved being around his family and friends. He was happiest when he was spending time with his nephews Kenny and Dylan and he was very proud of his nieces Alexis and Alana. He loved to spend time challenging music and movie trivia and could always call Uncle Joe if he was stumped. His first job was at the A&P, later he was a house painter and enjoyed his time working in the home improvement industry.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family on Saturday, July 23 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike (Cor. Lynn Blvd.), Upper Darby followed by his Funeral Service at 12:30 PM. Interment SS Peter and Paul, 1600 S. Sproul Road, Springfield, PA.
