Roberta "Bobbi" McGettigan

Roberta “Bobbi” McGettigan (née DiSylvestro), 71, of Havertown, PA passed away on December 7, 2022.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Caesarina R. (née Pilla) DiSylvestro.

Bobbi was the beloved wife of Joseph J. McGettigan; loving mother of Amanda McGettigan, Matthew Paglione, Joseph J. McGettigan Jr., Beau D. McGettigan (Lauren) and Devon McGettigan; devoted grandmother of Lilly Rose and Miller Marie; dear sister of Ralph DiSylvestro (Eloise) and Richard P. DiSylvestro (Louise).

Bobbi was a very generous, loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend, who enjoyed spending time with her loved ones.

She had a passion for traveling with her husband, particularly to Italy and Florida. She enjoyed baking, especially pizzelles, boating and crabbing in Northeast Maryland on the Chesapeake and in Cape May, where she was also fond of shopping at the Queen May. Bobbi loved her dogs and hanging out with them in the park.

She worked for many years as a Real Estate Appraiser and was well respected in the profession. She was very proud to be appointed to serve on the PA State Board of Real Estate Appraisers.

Services and interment are private.
