Rocco Travia

Rocco Joseph Travia, 85, of Garnet Valley, PA, formerly of Havertown, PA, passed away on November 29, 2020.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Christine Travia. Rocco liked to work around the house in Havertown, maintaining everything himself.  He especially enjoyed spending time at his vacation home in the Poconos for over 30 years. He enjoyed working on cars and was an active member of the Monsignor Bonner Fathers’ Club for many years.  He was always there to assist his kids and grandkids with any project.  He enjoyed his many years working as a senior mechanical engineer for Westinghouse in Lester, PA and later for RCA/GE in Moorestown, NJ.

Rocco was the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth “Betty” Travia (nee Stahl); loving father of Thomas R. Travia (Denise), Donna L. Mastro, and Stephen A. Travia; caring grandfather of Laura Travia, Ryan Mastro, Cole Mastro, and Brooke Mastro.

Relatives are invited to his Viewing 9:30-10:25 AM Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Annunciation BVM Church, 401 Brookline Blvd., Havertown, PA and to his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.

In accordance with the CDC guidelines and the State of Pennsylvania, masks are to be worn to the viewing, Funeral Mass and cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to the Annunciation BVM Church Sanctuary Fund, 410 Sagamore Road, Havertown, PA 19083, would be appreciated.
