Rodolfo V. "Rudy" Veneziano, 84, of Milmont Park PA, died Saturday, May 20, 2017.
Born in Curinga, Italy, he was the son of the late Angela (nee Bressi) and Mario Veneziano.
Rodolfo was the beloved husband of the late Rose S. (nee Serratore). He is dear father of Mario V. (Janice) Veneziano, grandfather of Amanda and Evan Veneziano, great-grandfather of Kylie Veneziano, brother of Carmalena Sgarbossa and the late Conchetta, Maria, Nicola, Frank and Elizabeth. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
Stylist, opera star, and painter: It's all in a life's work... Rodolfo studied art and music in his Native land of Calabria, Italy. His singing engagements in the area include Burks Grand Opera Company, Penn State University, and the Coliseum in New Jersey. He was vice president of the artist guild and taught classes in an art studio in his home. Rudy, as he was affectionately known, loved crabbing, fishing, and cooking for his family in his summer home in Cape May. Family was Rudy's passion above everything else. His life revolved around making them happy.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation Friday, May 26, 2017, 9:00-10:30 AM at The Knoetgen-Donohue Funeral Home 746 Kedron Ave., Morton, PA 19070, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 136 Saxer Ave., Springfield, PA 19064. Interment at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery.
