Roger Dean Ruch

Roger D. Ruch, 74, of West Chester, PA passed away suddenly on March 6, 2025 in Clearwater, FL.

Born in Allentown, PA, in 1950 Roger was the son of the late Jay William and Jean Priscilla (née Miller) Ruch.

Roger loved music. He had an incredible interest and fellowship in Music Direction and Student Lessons. He played almost all instruments with a focus on flute and piccolo. Roger was a decorated Marching Band Instructor for over 30 years at West Chester East High School. He was a proud member of the East Enders retirement community. He loved all of his students and continued to teach music lessons until he passed.

Roger also enjoyed sports and was a fanatical Philadelphia sports fan with a love of going to Clearwater with his best friend for Phillies Spring training.

Roger was the dear uncle of Jason Ruch and his family; brother-in-law of Patricia Ruch; best friend of Bob Dreisbaugh and his family. He was predeceased by his brother, Jay Terrence Ruch.
