Ronald E. Mahoney, age 82, of Media, PA passed away on September 6, 2017.
Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1935, Ronald was the son of the late John J. and Isabel (nee Gallagher) Mahoney. He served honorably in the U.S. Army and was then employed in the Real Estate Industry for many years as a Realtor with Weichert Realtors in Media, PA.
Ronald was the beloved husband of Kathleen "Kay" M. (nee Adgie) Mahoney. He was the loving father to Kathleen M. Anderson (Richard), Ronald E. Mahoney, Jr. (Holly), Stephen J. Mahoney (Maureen), and Matthew A. Mahoney. He was the proud grandfather of Rich, Kathy, Shannon, Jimmy, Megan, Kerry, Ron III, Stephen, Colleen, Sara, Erin, and Sean, and the great grandfather of Molly, Evan, Bradley, and Hailey. Ronald is also survived by his siblings John "Murph" Mahoney (Marlene), Terry August (Bill), Janet Yost (Cy), and Diane Curley (Lou); and is predeceased by his brother, Joseph Mahoney.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing on Sunday evening, September 10, 2017, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at The Donohue Funeral Home, 3300 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073, 610-353-6300, and to his Funeral Mass on Monday morning, September 11, 2017, 10:30 AM at Nativity BVM Church, 30 E.
