Rosa Menocal

Rosa D. Menocal (nee Delmas), age 88, a 53 year resident of Wayne, PA, passed away on May 30, 2014. Born in Cienfuegos, Cuba, she was the daughter of the late Esteban and Emilia Delmas.



Rosa was a graduate of the University of Havana. She was employed as a Spanish teacher at Radnor Senior High School for 33 years. She retired in 1992.



Rosa was predeceased by her daughter Maria Rosa Menocal. She is survived by her husband, Enrique V. Menocal, her children Elisa Menocal, Enrique Javier Menocal (Cristina Munoz) and Lucia D. (Guillermo) Pernot and her son-in-law Croxby Kemper III. Also survived by her grandchildren Harold George Calhoun (Maya Costanzi Calhoun), Margaux Ava Calhoun, Zoe Barton Slocum (William Joshua Slocum), Ashley Barton Ostroff (Noah Sean Ostroff), Livia Barton Sheehan (Christopher Owens Sheehan), Alice Wilson Barton, Cristine Michelle Menocal, Enrique Manual Menocal, Carla Marie Menocal, Viviana Lucia Pernot and Marcelo Guillermo Pernot and her great-grandchildren George Milton Calhoun, John Henry Calhoun, Rory Hudson Slocum, Isla Taylor Slocum, Riley Rose Ostroff, Logan Jules Ostroff and Jade Hudson Ostroff.



Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Service Saturday, July 5, 2014 Chapel of St. Cornelius the Centurion at Valley Forge Military Academy, 1001 Eagle Road, Wayne, PA. Interment is private.
