Roseanne Gillespie

Roseanne Gillespie (nee Zirpoli), 76, of Phoenixville, PA died peacefully on January 7, 2022, at home surrounded by her family. The youngest child of the late Emilio and Rose (Ficca) Zirpoli, she was born in Philadelphia in September, 1945. After attending Good Shepherd Elementary School in southwest Philadelphia, she graduated from West Catholic High School in 1963.

Roseanne is survived by her daughter Kelly (Robert McTague) and her grandchildren Katie and Paige McTague, whom she loved dearly. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Roseanne was predeceased by her siblings Anthony Zirpoli, Vincent Zirpoli, Adeline Cannon, and Joan McGuriman.

Roseanne had an entrepreneurial spirit and always strived to do the best for her family. She will be remembered fondly for her generosity and her love of family and friends. Her smile will always shine in the hearts of all of those who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Saturday, January 15, 2022 9:00-10:30 AM at The Donohue Funeral Home, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA and to her Funeral Service beginning at 10:30 AM at the Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
