Rosemarie Horne

Rosemarie M. Horne (nee Thiele), age 87, passed away on May 15, 2014. Born in the Olney section of Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Frederick J. and Mary Kathryn Thiele (nee Madison). She was a graduate of Olney High School.
Rosemarie bred and raised Great Danes. She was a member of the Great Dane Club of Pennsylvania, enjoyed gardening and adored her Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Phillies.
Rosemarie was predeceased by her husband, Donald E. Horne and her son Jeffrey Horne. She is survived by her children Regina M. Horne and Elizabeth J. Biles (Michael), and her grandchildren Mitchell and Erika.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Thursday, May 22, 2014 10:00-10:30 AM St. Joseph Church, 338 Manor Avenue, Downingtown, PA and to her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment Indiantown Gap Military Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to the Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League, 515 Rotteck Street, Baden, PA 15005 or the North Baldwin Animal Shelter, 1700 McMeans Avenue, Bay Minnette, AL 36507 would be appreciated.
