Rosemary C. Donaghue (nee Gallen), 87, of West Chester, formerly of Springfield, passed away on November 29, 2015.
Born in Drexel Hill in 1928, she was the daughter of the late Mary Cecelia (nee Dalton) and George F. Gallen.
Rosemary graduated from Notre Dame High School in Moylan and attended and graduated from Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital School of Nursing with an R.N. In later years she acted as a tour guide and special events coordinator at Longwood Gardens.
Rosemary was the beloved wife of the late Louis C.; the loving mother of Hugh A. (Denise), Mary Cecelia Schwarz (Christopher), Joseph Paul, Louis F. (Marianne), Brian E., and Francis T. (Lonna); the dear sister of Margaret Procko; also survived by 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation Friday, December 4, 2015 10:15-11:15 AM at SS Peter & Paul Church, 1325 E Boot Rd., West Chester, PA 19380 and to her Funeral Mass at 11:15 AM. Int. SS Peter & Paul Cem.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, 5300 Chester Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19143.
