Russ Moore, 89, of Havertown, PA and formerly of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on December 30, 2018.
Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1929, he was the son of the late William Russell, Sr. and Jen (nee Gerstle) Moore. Russ served honorably in the US Army and was a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council 590 as well as a former Grand Knight.
He was the beloved husband of Marianne (nee McDermott) Moore; loving father of Jim Moore (Oona), Bill Moore (Deb), Linda Moore, Terri Clark (Steve), and Eileen Brophy (Matt); caring grandfather of Chris, Matthew, & Patrick Moore, Kelley Spainhour, Ryan McKenzie, Kelsey & Riley Clark, and Luke, Liam, Mollyanne, & Dylan Brophy; dear brother of Jim Moore (Kitty) and Rita Cannon (the late Joe).
Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation 10:45-11:50 AM Saturday, January 5, 2019 at St. Denis Church, 2401 St. Denis Lane, Havertown, PA 19083, followed by his Funeral Mass at 12 Noon.
Interment private.
