Russell "Russ" DeGrassa, age 60, of Ridley Park, PA, passed away on April 26, 2016. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Harry DeGrassa and Barbara Fleenor Kelly. Russ was self-employed as a Master Carpenter. Russ was exceptionally skilled in the building trade, and always had an eye for design. He enjoyed time with his family, fishing and crabbing, camping, traveling, his dog "Pearl" and all animals. He was an accomplished musician and played many different instruments. Throughout his entire life, he was a man of true character. He was honest, genuine, hardworking, had the best sense of humor and would give anyone the shirt off his back. Russ is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret A. "Peg" DeGrassa (nee Lafferty), his loving children Onnie Michalsky (Jason), Russell DeGrassa, Jr., Fr. Jim DeGrassa and Marguerite DeGrassa, his grandchildren Ariella, Kaylah, Milana, Jason Jr., Cienna and Giana, his sisters Toni DeGrassa, Terri Sinclair and Vicki DeGrassa and many in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.
