Ruth C. Haegele

Ruth C. Haegele, 89, of West Chester, PA passed away on August 4, 2023.

Born in Philadelphia, PA in 1934, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Mary (née May) Teel.

Ruth was the beloved wife of the late Warren O. Haegele; loving mother of Mark Haegele, D.O.  (Nancy), Trina Carney, Warren Haegele Jr., Kurt Haegele (Lisa), the late Danette Haegele and Danielle Steckel; mother-in-law of Eric Steckel; devoted grandmother of 17 grandchildren and 21 great-granchildren; dear sister of Marie Peters (the late Arthur), Raymond Teel (Charlotte), Richard Teel (Joan) and the late Harry Teel Jr. (Eleanor). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Ruth was a devout Catholic whose faith was very important to her. She was a devoted wife and mother and loved spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed being with her grandchildren and visiting the Jersey Shore with all of them. She enjoyed macramé basket weaving, candle making and watching old movies.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 10:30-11:30 AM Friday, August 11, 2023 and to her Funeral Mass 11:30 AM at Saints Simon & Jude Church, 8 Cavanaugh Ct, West Chester, PA. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
