Ruth McNelis

Ruth L. McNelis (nee Helms), age 74, a 27 year resident of Wayne, PA, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family, on February 2, 2015. Born in Malvern, PA, she was the daughter of the late Walter O. and Catherine Helms (nee Kusak). Ruth was employed as an Executive Assistant for Communication Cable in Malvern. She retired in 2013.



Ruth enjoyed shopping trips to Lancaster with her brother and sister and family trips to the Jersey Shore.



Ruth is survived by her sons Stephen (Margie) and Mark (Mary) McNelis, her grandchildren Rachel, Kelly, Jessica, Sami, her great-grandchildren Aidan, Max, Gia, her sister Dorothy Belisario (the late Tony) and her brother Richard Helms.



Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Friday, February 6, 2015 9:00-9:50 AM St. Katharine of Siena Church, Lancaster and Aberdeen Avenue, Wayne, PA and to her Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken, PA.



In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103 would be appreciated.
