Ruth Sheehan

Ruth Anna Sheehan (nee Gilroy), age 77, of Collingdale, PA, passed away on March 27, 2021.   Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ruth Gilroy (nee Purdy).

Ruth had been employed as a Secretary for Presbyterian Hospital.   She was a member of New Hope Community Church in Broomall, PA, where she was an active member in various groups within the Church.   She also loved to cook.

Ruth was predeceased by her beloved husband, Thomas Sheehan, who passed away in January, 2021.   She is survived by her loving children Tracey Aston, Trishia McCunney (Joe) and Thomas Sheehan (Allison), her dear grandchildren Tara Aston, Timmy Aston, Kylie Merrow, Katie McCunney, J.T. McCunney, Ashlyn Sheehan, Tommy Sheehan and Eve Sheehan.   Sister of Patricia Gilroy, Michelle Costa, and Joseph Gilroy.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Saturday, April 3, 2021 10:00-11:00 AM at New Hope Christian Church, 551 Paxon Hollow Road, Broomall, PA and to her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM.  Interment private.

Masks are to be worn when visiting the family, to the Funeral Service and Social Distancing is to be observed.
