Salvatore LaMacchia

Salvatore J. LaMacchia, "Sam", age 87, of Tinton Falls, NJ, formerly of Secane, PA, passed away on September 27, 2013. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Francesco and Grazia LaMacchia. (nee Formica).
Sam was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during World War II. He received numerous medals including the Army Occupation Medal, European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal and the World War II Victory Medal.
He is survived by his beloved wife Rosemarie N. LaMacchia (nee Nocella), with whom he shared 60 years of marriage, his loving daughter KarenAnn LaMacchia (Thomas A. Farruggio), his adored grandchildren Stephen Robert LaMacchia, Sarah Kaitlynn Farruggio, Brianna Karen Farruggio and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was predeceased by his sister Josephine Giacobbe and his brothers Anthony, Frank, Patrick and Joseph LaMacchia.

Interment SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
