Samuel A. "Sam" Pickard Jr.

Samuel A. “Sam” Pickard Jr., age 91, of Broomall, PA, passed away November 3, 2023.

Born in Pottstown, PA, Sam was the son of the late Samuel A., Sr. and Dorothy (née Hart) Pickard

Sam served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Sam was a self-made man in his carpentry business. The most important thing to him was family. There was nothing that paralleled the loved ones in his life. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Sam was the beloved husband of 62 years to the late Marie Ann Pickard (née Devlin); the loving father of Sam Pickard (Beth), Jim Pickard (Anne), Rob Pickard (Patty), Joe Pickard (Debbie), and Tom Pickard.  He was the proud grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Sam was predeceased by his two sisters, and his granddaughter, Colleen Marie.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation, Tuesday November 7^th, 2023, from 9:00 to 10:00AM at St. Pius X Church, 220 Lawrence Road, Broomall, PA  19008, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:00AM.   Interment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
