Sandra F. Ridgway (nee Fisher), 83, of Audubon, PA passed away on August 3, 2017.
Born in Medina, NY, Sandra was the daughter of the late Rolland and Elizabeth (Walters) Fisher.
She was the beloved wife for 61 years of Ronald D. Ridgway; loving mother of Ronald D. II (Heather), Kevin F., Scott K. (Sonja) and Elizabeth R. Nolan (Vince); loving grandmother of Mason, Carter and Pierce; dear sister of Roxie Lowe (Brian).
Sandra (Sass) was a caring, thoughtful and generous soul. She had a passion for volunteering and helping people. Her most recent love was volunteering at the soup kitchen in Philadelphia. Sandra also volunteered at the Paoli Hospital Emergency room for many years. She was happiest when she was assisting others. Sandi also devoted many hours of her time volunteering at Wayne Presbyterian Church. She served as a Deacon, counted money, worked in the office and wore many different hats for the annual Second Time Around bizarre.
Sandi was at home in the kitchen and loved to try new food recipes. One of her favorite events was a monthly dinner party with a few couples for their "Gourmet Supper Club". As a master entertainer, she loved to have friends and family around her enjoying her culinary creations.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Service at 11:00 AM on Monday August 7, 2017 at Wayne Presbyterian Church, 125 E. Lancaster Ave, Wayne, PA 19087. A reception will be held at the church after the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wayne Presbyterian Church.
