Sarah Falkowski

Sarah C. "Chris" Falkowski (nee McElwee), 81, of Media, formerly of Cape May Court House, passed away on April 26, 2016. Born in 1934 in Chester, PA she was the daughter of the late John and Helena (nee Timothy) McElwee. Chris graduated from Notre Dame de Lourdes, Moylan and worked as a Project Manager in Real Estate. She was politically active as a Judge of Elections in Ridley Township. Chris was a Eucharistic Minister at Our Lady of Angels in Cape May County. She also loved to fish in Cape May. Chris was the loving wife of the late Sigmund J. "Pete" Falkowski; the loving mother of Richard J. Falkowski (Joanne) and Thomas A. Falkowski (Carolyn); the grandmother of Danielle, Richard, Jr., Jessica, Jake, and Dylan; the great-grandmother of Rya; the sister of Kay McCormick and Sr. Theresa McElwee, SNA; predeceased by her sisters Mary Farrar and Helen Petillo. Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation 9:30-10:30 AM Saturday, April 30, 2016 at St. Katherine Drexel Church, 1920 Providence Ave, Chester, PA 19013 followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment Immaculate Heart Cemetery, Linwood, PA . In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Disease Research, 25512 Gateway Center Drive, Clarksburg, MD 20871 or to Crozer-Keystone Hospice at Taylor Hospital, 175 E. Chester Pike, Ridley Park, PA 19078.
